The complete 84 hour course covers the theory and practice required to get certified as a Home Health Aide, which includes 8 hour clinical practice in a hospital. In the duration of this course, students will learn the necessary expertise in assisted care for people of all ages, which require home care (elderly, handicapped, post clinical release, and with chronic illnesses). Furthermore, we offer students who are certificated as PCAs to upgrade their certificate and become Home Health Aides following our approved 44 hour curriculum, which includes 8 hours of clinical internship in a Hospital. Morning and evening classes available! Employment Opportunities Home Health Aides are usually employed in Home Care Agencies, which send them to work individually in the client’s home. Also, some Home Health Agencies offer the opportunity to work in an Assisted Living and Hospice Care (Concord Rusam offers a list of agencies which employ our graduates).
