Concord Rusam provides complete theoretic and practical education followed by national examination hosted on school premises.
Our school also offers a practical Review Course for the NCLEX examination to receive a Registered Nurse License. This course includes lectures, books, handouts, CDs with test questions, and educational videos.

We are a certified testing site for all the national exams such as Phlebotomy Technician National Exam, Clinical Medical Assistant National Exam, EKG National Exam, Patient Care Technician National Exam.

Meet the team
Gregory Zilberman
Gregory is a licensed instructor and a Registered Nurse at Montefiore Medical Center. Originally Gregory is from Ukraine and got the primary medical education and work experience there. He worked as a Physician Assistant until moving to the United States in 1987. He has worked in different nursing fields, and as of today, holds a position as a Surgical/Clinical Registered Nurse. Mr. Zilberman has been teaching at Concord Rusam School since 2007.
Ella Smelyanskaya
Ella graduated from Odesa Medical School in 1975 and worked as an Anesthetist for 20 years in Ukraine. After moving to the United States, Ella graduated from a nursing school and received a New York State Registered Nurse License. She worked as a Recovery /ICU Nurse at Beth Israel Medical Center and as an Oncology Nurse at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for 13 years. Ella has been teaching at Concord Rusam since 2007.
Pavel Shifmiller
Pavel graduated from Zaporozhe Medical School in 1976 with a Cum Laude(honors) diploma. He worked in Kherson Hospital of Infectious Diseases as an attending physician and then as a Department Head for 18 years. Additionally, he studied at Kyiv State Medical Institute and later at Moscow State Medical Institute, majoring in Developmental Studies. In America finished all doctors’ exams (USMLE, the step I and II, and TOEFL), and worked in a Medical Office for 9 years. From 2005 Pavel works as a teacher of different medical disciplines, including Medical Assisting, Electrocardiography, Phlebotomy. Pavel has been teaching in Concord Rusam since 2007.
Svetlana Zhukovskaya
Svetlana is our Medical Billing and Coding instructor. She graduated from Belarusian Educational institute in 1989 with a degree in teaching. She has been an instructor for the Medical Billing and Coding program for the past ten years; important to mention that she has 21 years of experience in the field. Currently working as a Medical Billing Coordinator at NYU Langone Medical Center.
Gisela Molot
Meet your Sterile Processing Technician Program Instructor, Gisela Molot! She is a Certified Sterile Processing Technician Program Instructor and a Staff Development Coordinator at NYU LANGONE ORTHOPEDIC HOSPITAL with 15 years of experience in the Sterile Processing department. Gisela holds various certifications, such as CIS, CHL, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.She is passionate about success and teaching students the depth of the sterilization process, explaining regulatory requirements and job specifications, and preparing students for the national exam.
Yuri Kurashvili
School President The school President, Yuri Kurashvili, businessman and philanthropist, originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, founded Private Career School Concord Rusam in 2007. Yuri graduated from Leningrad State University with a Law Degree. For many years now, Yuri supports the students who are the newcomers to the United States and helps them achieve their dream of working in the medical specialty and other fields.
Zinaida Freink
School's Director Zinaida graduated from the Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute in 1977 and worked in a children's clinic for 25 years. She went from a District Doctor to the Chief Medical Officer of a children's clinic. She had also taught at the Advanced Training School for Nursing. Zinaida has been with the Concord Rusam from the start and serves as the school's Director.
Yekaterina Chizhikova
Office Manager Yekaterina Chizhikova graduated from Kyiv Pedagogical University and received her BS and MBA from the universities in New York.Mission and Objective
Our mission at Concord Rusam is to provide our students with high-quality post-secondary education and prepare them for entry-level positions. We are dedicated to achieving our goal by implementing the following:

I got the job after 6 month of receiving my RN License in the State of Idaho! I lived in CA, attending the Review course for NCLEX-RN Program in Concord Rusam 2015, got the RN License in 11.2016, and got the job in 06.2017. Obtaining of a New State License ( singular), due to we get a Singular License in NY State, took 3 month. But I’m happy, working hard as a Nurse in Nursing home! Pay is great, lots of jobs available around! Thank you, Concord Rusam, Zina, Edic, all employees, your hard work pays back! I want tell all of you for every think you doing. I was trying to change my life on my own, but was no way, I did tried a lot of ways to have education on my previous carrier but the biggest achievement was just a CNA and phlebotomist, as soon as I have heard about Concord Rusam immediately call them, all staff was very helpful starting with the phone call, appointment, enrolling, two years ( I think it was much less then two years), exit test, taking the exam even job employment, CONCORD RUSAM thank you very much, for all you care and effort to help me and my family.
